Advantages: Looks good, Fun as all get out, The stones

Disadvantages: None

Powerstone was a refreshing change in pace in the genre of fighting games. Finally something one a higher level gaming platform has come out perfectly. The fun is insane! The interactive levels make the game so much more that it seems to be. You can beat a number of combos directly into your opponent, throw objects, utilize various weapons, flip off of walls/ceilings, and turn into a super version of your character by collecting the three stones in the level. Combos depend on the character and button being pressed and so do the super charge-ups. Boxes, tables, and chairs are the most common objects, but some characters can rip giant poles or light posts out of the ground and swing them across the level. For every object you encounter you have the options to either pick up and throw the object or to more quickly slide it across the floor at your opponent. If you like you can jump up and grab onto the ceiling and swing your way across the room to fly down and attack. The weapons are sweet. They range from rockets to flame throwers to extending poles. My favorites are the chain gun and Molotov cocktail. Nothing is quite as satisfying as blasting a tricky opponent every now and again. The most fun part of the game is getting the stones and transforming. Everyones attacks are fun to watch and do. Some people even look like a certain dbz character if you are at all interested. Each characters has regular attacks when they are powered up which all rock and super attacks. The super attacks are ASTOUNDING. They look great and they are incredibly fun to execute. Powerstone is probably the most fun I have ever had with a fighting game. If you like being in interactive environments and full three dimensional battle, then this game is perfect for you.
