Power Stone! Power Stone is an ace fighting game, one of the best on any console, ever released.

Its made by the creators of Resident Evil, so you had to expect something original, and you’ll be thoroughly impressed – Power Stone is a Capcom marvel.

The game is different to other fighters, as you have to run around some very strange arenas, more like rooms – full of all sorts, and picking up objects in order to knock your opponent senseless is actually rather good! You can also collect the three power stones, which act as power ups!

Once you have the 3 power stones, you’ll turn into a huge version of yourself, and become all-powerful – easily winning that round against the enemy!

So as you can imagine, it’s completely mad, you’re trying to get the stones, and not lose them – keep the opposition away!

The fighters are all mad looking – typical Japanese gaming, and all have different qualities: some can fly for a short while, some can jump high, and some are just very powerful!

Choose wisely in the one player mode, it’s actually quite a good charrenge! (I mean challenge, but the Japanese in game voice says Charrenge :-)

The levels are well designed, and there’s plenty to keep you occupied – if you can get the game for less than a tenner then do so! It’s an original classic, and very quirky fun and full of vibrant life. 5 Stars
