Rayman's first sojourn into the gaming world was a fairly generic 2D platform experience from a few years back. With Rayman2, UbiSoft sent their odd-looking French fellow into 3D. Appearing originally on the N64 last year, Rayman2 is a beautiful platformer loaded with absolutely acres of gameplay. Although simple in premise, Rayman2 plays like a dream. So I bought it and what I played was beyond my expectations. It was magnificent. I played through the first level 'The Woods Of light' and witnessed the unbelievable graphics and brilliant sound. The gameplay was excellent but I thought that it was a bit too easy. I played through ...

As updates go it's a good try and it's based on a sound, fun game - but it feels a little too familiar to recommend unreservedly.
Its shallow nature may also put people off, but it's a laugh for everyone in multiplayer.
