in red dog you control a buggy jeep tank vheicle and bounce about destroying everything that can be destroyed. THERES some really cool touchs on it like a shield that pops up in front of you and deflects shots coming at you plus a really cool enemy who are soldiers and they charge you while you sit in front of them mowing them all down easy to pick up hard to put down. and I think this is only for dreamcast Im not quite sure. ...  Read the complete review

i've only ever played the demo but it was fun, it about this way ard looking tank who has to save the world, simple enough, so arm yourself to the teeth with guns and mines and fight your way though each level, it fun at first but it gets really boring when all you do is shoot and get shot, i wouldnt buy this game but it would be a good idead to rent it for a couple of days, just to try it out for a while, if you still want it then buy it, i think you will get bored ...  Read the complete review

Red Dog is a tank based shoot ‘em up from Argonaut (of Croc fame). The main storyline behind the game is that a race of aliens, formerly allies, has turned coat and is now trying to remove humanity from Earth. Basically, you drive around in a patchwork tank and blast the fool out of anything that moves. The demo sported two levels, an outdoor canyon area and a cityscape, and after tearing through both, one thing is for sure: this game is gonna be tricky. Use the analog to both control your vehicle and aim your guns. This duel duty requires a great deal of coordination, and it can be quite a pain to blast the bad guys. Fortunately, the game looks really smooth in motion, and the death animations are all pretty sweet.
