Sega Rally is a brilliant Dreamcast rallying game, one of the best in the genre on the format. It's far from perfect, but if you're looking for fast paced gear crunching action round a variety of levels including Snowy, desert, forest, muddy and a riviera track then Sega Rally 2 is for you. The Dreamcast may not be the most popular console at the moment, but that can only be good for the poeple who want one or own one, with prices so low these days, and games available for less than £10, including Sega Rally, you really have no excuse not to own this title! The Graphics are crisp, fresh and very good for a first generation of Sega Dreamcast ... Read the complete review

Sega Rally is another of the Dreamcast catalogue of racing titles. Looking back at the first game Sega Rally 1 – an arcade classic, and one of the best games on the unpopular Sega Saturn console, it’s really strange why I don’t like this game. It’s not fresh, so it’s been out for over 2 years now, but Sega Rally 2 is an arcade game at heart, and that is where it belongs, in my opinion. The graphics aren’t bad, but they’re nothing on GT3 and MSR – the pop up is still evident and the frame rate isn’t fantastic, although sliding round on the icy snowy circuits does have it’s moments. There’re many ... Read the complete review

Sega Rally 2 was one of the launch games I purchased with my swanky new Dreamcast back in October last year. Like many people, I loved the arcade version of this legendary franchise, and felt postive for the console conversion. The first twinges of concern started as soon as I powered on the game. 'Windows CE' flashed on-screen as the game booted-up. I later found out that Sega had rather lazily ported this version from the PC version! The cars mysterously float around the track (hello handling?), the frame-rate stutters at almost every corner (to the point where you have to actually alter your driving style to cope with the jitter) and the game options are ... Lets start with the amazing graphics, thouse almost reel cars on 17 different courses racing through:blizzards, deserts, night, ect. Also the great selction of those classy cars:206, 306, impretza, ect.Eventhough the stering takes time to get use to its all worth while! The 10yr rally is top fun with all those crap computer rallyers but also hard. This game has a great life span you will be playing it in 5yrs time. The multiplayer is a bit crap butalso a huge laugh!Sorry cheaters got no cheats today!!!! ... I've seen Sega Rally 2 on the shelves for years. I'd never considered purchasing it, even when I'd had a demo with which I was impressed, I didn't think to get it. However one night a friend and myself were playing it and I recognised the track from my demo. I had a look on the Web when I got home and was very pleased to find Explosiv were publishing it as a budget title for the bargain price of £4.99. I had to get it. Initially I was bit apprehensive. I'd played Sega PC titles before and they were shocking, without exception. That having been said, it installed relatively easily on Windows XP, despite the fact I have to run the ...
