Advantages: Innovative, and this game is something special.

Disadvantages: Not Fast Paced.

The Game Shenmue is a gem of the Dreamcast. If you own a Dreamcast this is the number 1 game to own! This game was so innovative for it's time, and coined the genre "FREE" due to the freedom the player has in this game. Real life event's are portrayed in the game such as sleeping, eating etc. Aswell as that, the game creates a unique and excellent quest line, searching for the characters dead father's killers. The game introduces early examples of Quick Time Event's and area's can be explored without furthering the quest line. This game has alot to offer, and for it's time was an amazing game. But the game might be boring for some gamer's as the game doesn't get straight into the action. This game is not for the fast paced action game fan, but rather for the casual anything goes/rpg game fan. A Must Buy! Innovative
