Ok, many people say that Grand Theft Auto III is the greatest game of all time. Now it's really cool because you get to do anything you want, but Shenmue blows it out of the water by a mile! Shenmue for the DreamCast game consol is truly the best, most perfect game I have ever had the privalage of owning. It is truly a god-child. Yutaka Susuki, creator of Virtua Fighter and other titles, and his team of experts spent about 4 years directing and making this game, and my oh my I was surprised that they only pulled it off in 4 years. Shenmue places you in the shoes of an 18 year old Japanese man named Ryo Hazuki. His father was killed by a mysterious man named Lan-Di. He has sweared revenge on his father's killer. Shenmue puts you in a real world, in a real town that actually exists. In fact, if it wasn't for that Golem-looking guy named Chai, this could have really happened. You must investigate your father's murder as well as fight off tons of thugs. Rated Teen for Violance, Strong Language, and Use of Alchohol and Tobacco, Shenmue is like a PG-13 rated movie. I have truly never expierienced-you do not PLAY Shenmue, you expierience it-anything like this in my life. This a MUST HAVE for anyone and everyone! If you don't have a dreamcast, go out and buy one rite now, there only about $20 for a used one, and get this game. I also suggest getting Shenmue II, but it was only released in Japan and Europe, so you'll have to get an import version and a mod chip. You can also get an Xbox version that is American. Anyway, I give it a perfect ten. If I could go up to a gazillion, I'd give it to this game. Nothing else can EVER live up to it. This is truly god's gift to gamers.
