Disadvantages: no gun
A nice little story In the beginning was the word, and the word was "Space". But "Space" was lonely, and so unto the world came a second word, and that word was "Invaders". And Lo, Space Invaders begat Asteroids, which begat Star Wars, which begat Paperboy, which begat Operation Wolf, which begat Silent Scope. And Silent Scope was brought unto the world by the blessed Konami, and yeah over a period of forty days and forty nights and possibly a bit longer, they constructed an arcade cabinet to house their game. And LO, the cabinet was two cubits wide, by twelve cubits high, by four cubits deep, and LO, it was constructed of wood and plastic AND of other materials, and LO, it came with a two foot long sniper rifle mounted on the front. And the people saw this cabinet and rejoiced, for it was good. And the arcade game lasted in its specially fashioned cabinet for many years. Later, unto us was born again Silent Scope, though a Silent Scope bereft of cabinet AND of two foot long sniper rifle. Born unto us was a Silent Scope for our Dreamcast AND FOR our PS2. And the people saw this and rejoiced, for it was good. And the people played their new Silent Scope, and yeah, for they did marvel at its new training modes, and at its new shooting range feature, and they did rejoice, for these were good. But then unto these people was born a horrible plague. Upon them came the plague of irritatingly fidgety controls, causing them to miss the shots fired UNTO distant terrorists BY them FROM their gun. And there was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth, for this was bad. And after two days and two nights came upon the people the realisation that they in their wisdom had finished the game, and unto them shortly afterwards came the realisation that the training levels AND the shooting range feature were cack. As was the lack of lightgun support. And there came once more a great wailing and gnashing of teeth, for this, too, was bad. And so t
he people spoke unto the great Konami and said "Konami, though has forsaken us, with though short game, fidgety comtrol system AND lack of lightgun support". And the clouds in the Heavens parted and a great fanfare did sound, and Konami spake unto the gathered people and said unto them "tough". And the people returned to their homes, in London, in New York, in Galillee AND in other places too numerous to mention here, and placed Silent Scope upon a high shelf, never to play again. Amen
