Hard to believe that this little blue haired fella has been around for 10 years! It seems only yesterday that I was playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Megadrive!

In my opinion it had a lot to live up to from the previous Sonic Adventure. Well the music is better with each character having their own different theme! The graphics look sharp and colourful, and the gameplay is addictive.

All the key features of the original game are there, as well as some nice new bits and bobs added along the way i.e. you can do different moves such as ‘grind’ along rails.

Another nice feature is the option to play the game as an evil or good Sonic. It adds a nice new dimension to the game and doubles its life.
The only drawback that I can really see in the game is that sometimes the camera angles get in the way as you spin round near a wall.
