Advantages: great gameplay

Disadvantages: quite short lived

Ever since sega was started, sonic was always there flagship character and has always appeared on all official mechendise.
He is segas equilivent to mario.

So what better game to launch there new 128bit console, the dreamcast, than a new 3-d sonic game, after all the was no sega sonic game on the saturn.

So Sonic adventure was born a game which uses the most advanced 3-d graphics package of the time.
But this was no ordainary sonic game, it had an involving storyline, but still kept the amazing gameplay.
Also there are now 5 different characters to chose from each with different abilitys and missions.
They are the old favourites sonic, tails and knuckeles, and sonic girlfreind amy and a big cat called big.

The plot this time around is that, Robotnik is trying to steal 7 emeralds to make his monster chaos strong enegough to destroy the city and build his own city on the remains of it.
Sonic and his freinds must stop him.

This is another amazing sonic game which any dreamcast owner and sonic fan should have.
