Advantages: Top GFX, Excellent game modes, top gameplay

Disadvantages: hard to get a copy, Its on dreamcast which not many people have :-(

This has to be Namco's best fighter yet. Having played Tekken, Dead or Alive 2, Project Justice and various 2d fighters this is without a doubt the best there is.

The control system for the moves is nigh on perfect for a start, simple to understand and with a bit of practice a wide range of moves can be pulled off.

Graphics thoughout are superb. well detailed solid characters and locations, excellent effects and animations. If you play this with an audience they will all be wanting a go soon, which brings us nicely to the two player action.

A good player of SC will be hard to beat, this really is a game of skill. Combos may not be as obvious as in some fighting games and this is where it all begins to come together. Depending on your style there is a fighter to match, quick but weak, stong and slow or characters with medium speed and ranged attacks.

Then on top of this are the various game modes. Arcade, versus and the usual and the story mode which kicks butt. This is one fighter that will keep you coming back till you master it. Highly recomended.
