The first thing you notice about Tee Off is its use of cutesy graphics. Being open-minded, I find that Tee Offs combination of cutesy graphics, individualistic sounds and intriguing gameplay works well. The concept of Tee Off consists of two disproportionate parts - the first, and consequently the largest, is to blast your way through several courses set in different areas of the world - USA, Scotland, Australia - and achieve the lowest score of each tournament. Each tournament consists of 18 rounds (rather than 72) on one of these courses, and 15 other NPCs (Non-Player Characters) also compete. The spoils? To the victor, a hundred points. To second place, ... Read the complete review

Tee Off is not good. In fact it’s appalling and I wouldn’t even give it any stars if I had the option, but I don’t so 1 star will it be. The game is even more boring than the real sport, watching, which is an achievement, but not one to be proud of. Playing golf can be good, but watching it is not, and playing a virtual game of golf is worse than sucking chainsaws – yep, very painful!! The game features cartoon style golfers with large oversized heads – not very fun, even though it’s meant to be. The music is rubbish, the golfing is tedious and basically the only thing that saves the game is…no, nothing saves this – ... Read the complete review

Is it really a good game for golfing fans out there? If you have a Dreamcast then you'll be a little disappointed with the range of golf games available - that is to say there are none other than this little cartoon style game. I don't see why there PGA tour or Tiger Woods isn't on the format, as there are plenty of Playstation golf games! So, if you love golf, you may want to try out a virtual golf experience and opt for Tee Off. It isn't the most realistic in terms of the characters (they're all cartoon style with oversized heads!), but the actual physics are good, with wind direction being taken into account and all. The graphics ... Read the complete review

This game is the best golf game that I have played on any platform. Some of the computer players are a little weak, but it makes it that much better. I have played this game for hours on end. The graphics are very well done. The main problem that i have with this game is that i wish there was a better selection of players with better skills because the selection is very limited. Perhaps there will be a Tee-Off 2 where this problem will be taken into consideration as that would make it into a superb golf game. Overall a very enjoyable golf game and obviously the best golf game on the Dreamcast as it is the only one. ... Read the complete review
