Nothing on earth could have stopped me buying it. I rushed out and bought it, then rushed home. Threw the game in and settled down to watch the incredible opening video, as we fly through this parallel universe with Bowie singing along in the background. The fighting is so much easier with a control pad, almost instinctively you can kick butt against the strongest o...more

Premium Review The Nomad Soul (DC): Cease your wandering, and buy 'nomad soul' (215 words)

I first found “the nomad soul” on p.c., and was hooked, it draws you into an immense city, filled with interactive people. Your on a quest to save your soul from hell raising demons, all accompanied by a pumping David Bowie sound track. The world is immersive and if undistracted I played this game for hours. Saying that, it’s still one of the ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

I'll keep this opinion short & sweet. The Nomad Soul is a port from last years PC game. An adventure game set in a Blade Runner-esque backdrop with plenty of exploring and puzzle solving to do. The game exhumes an intoxicating atmosphere and conveys the storyline pretty well (you have to do plenty of 'piecing-together'). However, points are deducted for the jittery frame rate & frequent loading pauses. If you can forgive the game for these annoyances, then this is an enjoyable action adventure, some way off perfection, but reasonable none the less. Oh, and by the way, the soundtrack features plenty of David Bowie (which makes a change from the endless generic ...  Read the complete review
