 ... it’s not fun at all! The graphics are fine, but simple and plain – the speed is OK, but nothing more so, and they’re not up there with Polyphony Digital’s masterpiece, but still, this is probably the game’s only strong point. The cars are all unofficial look-alikes of mainly Japanese Hondas, Nissans and more – not good being unofficial, and the tracks are just so lifeless – basically it’s just one track, but with more sections opening up as you complete through the game...more

Tokyo Highway Challenge lives up to it’s less than exciting name, simply because it’s one of the most tedious and mind numbingly boring games of all time. As you’d expect from the title, the premise is just racing at night time – in the dark, which brings about one of the games only strong points – decent lighting effects and car visuals, but it’s just so boring – you’re racing along long stretches of Japanese highways, at night, it’s not fun at all!
