Didn't anyone else get Tokyo 2 for Xmas? I guess not, but then you haven't missed out on much! The game is better than the original, but retains many annoying faults and features, that make the game not quite good enough.

Firstly, as with the previous game, there are no official cars, although the 'pretend cars' do look exactly the same as the real cars that they're imitating - the graphics are good, but the cars look far too shiny!

The tracks are dull, and you can only play at night for some reason! The game has a weak 2player mode - the single player game is also lacklustre. The music is great, but that's the only reason why you should THC2. Go for the superior MSR, F355 or Le Mans 24. I can't recommend this at all.

The cars do have good handling, and the best has to be the 'Type - R34RV' which is the virtual counter part of the superb Nissan GTR - the result of no official licencing!

You have to race around the motorways of Tokyo - they all look exactly the same in my view, and have to beat the other driver by staying ahead of them until the 'life bar' runs out. This usually takes around a minute or so on easy mode. If you get left behind the opposition, it's a different story completely! Your life gauge falls so much more quickly, and so if you're in a small engined car up against a mighty demon of a made up machine, you'll have lost the race in about 10-20 seconds...

The game isn't all bad, and as I say the music is superb, but what is the point in the game? You can do this on a motor way in real life! Oh yeah, it's illegal...

I'd give it 5 out of ten, but it's more like 4 rather than 6 so I give just 2 stars.

I look forward to Tokyo 3, or maybe I'll just get MSR!
