Advantages: Lots of teams
Disadvantages: Gameplay, Sliding tackles, Referees
UEFA Striker is Microsoft International Football 2000 (PC) with a different name. There are absolutely no differences that I can see between the two titles, aside from different intro movies, of course. The game has the same "ping pong" feel of MIF2000 and also, the stupid sliding tackles that with one button press, take you down a quarter of the pitch are also still included. It's pretty much impossible to perform a sliding tackle without performing a foul for this reason. There are at least 4 penalties a match and the red cards flow thick and fast. Graphically, UEFA Striker is pretty impressive in places, but ultimately appalling in others. Goalkeepers are rendered well but the outfield players look like they're running on water. Also, when a player looks like their foot has actually made contact with the ball, you may as well celebrate as it doesn't happen often at all. I would avoid this like the plague, even for £9.99. UEFA Dream Soccer, although flawed, is FAR better than this and can be picked up for a similar price now.
