Racing games are becoming two-a-penny these days. There are arcade racing games, simulations, comic racing and kart racing games, just to name a few. Vanishing point falls between the arcade and sim catagories of game. It has more options than you could shake a stick at and the graphics are pretty fantastic, given the speed they run at. So what does it play like? When you first start the game, you are given a choice of two cars and one track. Very little, you might say, but this game encourages you to unlock far more than just extra tracks, there are bonus options for tuning your car, hidden extras and mirror/reverse circuit options too. Vanishing Point - Aklaim / Clockwork Games (Sega Dreamcast) Vanishing Point is an impressive racer with its vast array of options that you can fiddle about with like you can unlock a feature which allows you to tune up your car The options that your offered at the main menu are the usual type , Tournament , Time Trial, Single Race, Internet Challenge etc... BUT!!! This is a fine point that makes this racer worth that little bit more thought in whether to buy this or Sega GT/MSR etc...
