I have to admit that I've always had a soft spot for Virtua Fighter 3tb. The arcade game from which it spawned was the last machine I can claim to have got any real challenge out of, and given the dying nature of the fighting game in the arcades, I'm sure you can imagine even then it wasn't much. As if to further condemn the game, it was released ... Read the complete review

Virtua Fighter 3TB is not the most amazing game out there, but for me, as a fan of the original two games, I still think this is a brilliant game, despite being less well liked as Dead Or Alive 2 or Soul Calibur, it’s one of the most complete and rewarding fighting games around. Look past it’s apparent slowness to discover a masterful ... Read the complete review

Virtua Fighter 3 TB was not the success that Sega had hoped for, but then the arcade conversion wasn’t all that spectacular to say the least! The graphics are good, but pale in comparison to the might Soul Calibur and the fantastic Dead or Alive 2, and aren’t really a match for PS2’s Tekken Tag either, but the game is still ... Aside from an average options, arcade, and practice modes, the game includes a team battle mode, allowing you to make a group of fighters and play through in the same manner as the arcade mode. Also you can view a long, cool-looking video about the whole Virtua Fighter series in the history mode. And of course, ... Read the complete review

Blimey, this is such a disappointment. As one of the launch titles it was meant to show the power of the DC, instead it really doesn’t improve much over the Saturn versions. There are some great touches, such as the uneven ground where you can get above an opponent, but graphically it just cannot hold a candle to the mighty Soul Calibur. The ... Read the complete review

Eek!. Sega! What are you Doing?! What the hell is this? Ohhh its a 3rd party conversion of one of your best games. Thats right. I forgot. I find it horrible to think that Sega would hand this out to a third party to convert. And convert so badly. The Arcade game is definately the best hand-to-hand combat game out there, (you ... This is a VERY cool game. A must of the Virtua Fighter fan. The game may lack some extras but is suprisingly addictive. This game requires more strategy than any other fighting game I've ever played. You must learn the controls and moves of the fighter to really enjoy this game. the Graphics VERY nice. Although it ... Read the complete review

This was one of the titles I bought when I purchased my UK Dreamcast and I have to say it really disappoints me. It feels like your characters are fighting in treacle, every response they make is incredibly slow and it's impossible to get into the fights. The character animation is unimpressive and I found there was really nothing to hold me ... Read the complete review

This ended up being the launch title for Sega's lacklustre launch of the Dreamcast in Japan, and although it is certainly very impressive, it doesn't really seem like next generation game. This has a totally different control system to games like Tekken or Street Fighter, and this has made it something of a cult classic. However, the moves ... Read the complete review

I know, i was the same. When i first heard of VF 3tb coming to Dreamcast I was very excited. But on release day I rushed to my local eb and gladly handed over my money in exchange for a top console and what i thought would be a class game. I was wrong. The first thing to moan about is the lack of the 60 Hz option. This just shows a ... Read the complete review
