Advantages: Real players and amazing FMV squences

Disadvantages: Extremely irritating and downright dodgy guitar riffs for a soundtrack

Virtua Tennis is one of a long line of Virtua sports games released by SEGA. As well as Virtua Fighter and Virtua Soccer, this game is probably Sega’s best in-house sports simulator to date. With the superbly animated players such as Tim Henman and Yevgeny Kafelnikov, there are some that have been created by SEGA. Altogether they do produce a well-rounded game, good wholesome fun for all the family.
There is the usual that go with all sports Sims, the Arcade mode, the Exhibition mode, but the one that stands out the most is the World Tour mode. In this you complete some very zany and bizarre tasks such as ten pin bowling, removing over-sized balls from one side of the court and landing tennis balls in large dustbins.
Although this is one of the Dreamcast's only games not to have an online function, I can't really see the need for one.
If you've got £40 to spend, spend it on Virtua Tennis.
