Arcade, Exhibition, World Circuit and Options this is what you are faced with. If you've never played the game before then i suggest that you play arcade mode.If you do go to the arcade mode you get the choice of 8 of the top tennis stars, the players are Tim Henman, Thomas Johansson, Carlos Moya, Pioline, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, Jim Courier Tommy Haas, and Mark Philippoussis. A good choice from sega to add characters with a wide range of ability. So you've picked your player and now your start. You start in Australia There are 5 levels in all. Australia, France, USA outdoor, England and USA indoor. And as soon as you serve the ball using the power bar you'lL never stop playing it for the next few weeks, . At first you'll play the easy to master shots that go straight, then you'll find out that you can angle your shots by holding the shot button (A) and the direction you want the ball to travel. By holding (a)you will increase the power of your shots

After you've won the first round of exhibition round you'll be taken to France where the commentary is in French, a good little addition to an already almost perfect game. This is where you'll either win with ease or lose harshly. You need to practice the shots and learn the more controls in depth. To put it simply, it's easy to pick up yet hard to beat the computer on levels three and four. And even when you have mastered the controls you'll be beaten by some of the unbeliveable shots the computer pulls off.

Carlos Moya is a good all rounder quick, good shots but not as good as one player who i will speak about later. His forehand is particulary good.

Tim Henman, to make full use of Tim you have to give him time he is best in a doubles match were he is just great at volley shots. He looks just like himself great achievement from the people at sega.

Cedric Pioline his a good all round player with a wide variety of shots. He is not the best play
er but is a good player to start off with.

Tommy Haas, has with phillopousis the best forehand in the game he also has good cross shots which helps when playing the computer.

Mark Phillopusis is a very strong player with a very powerful serve and smash. He is i think the strongest in the game. His strength makes him a good player to choose but because he has strength something else has to be poor and that is his speed if he was faster he would be a brilliant player.

Yevgeny Kafelnikov is the best player in the game he has a very good back hand which makes him a deadly player to play against, he is not slow and has a good forehand which helps to defeat the computer with ease.

Jim Courier, I think that he is the easiest computer player to play against, I dont know what it is he is just easy to beat.

The final player is probably the fastest in the game he can sprint to one side and dive and be back on his feet before you no it. The speed is agood point but has no power in any of his shots which is a bit dissapointing.

When you play World circuit mode you can unlock a few more characters but i wont tell you anything about them.

Even if you dont like Tennis this is a must buy.
If you haven't got the money for it straight away then get it any way you can this game is worth all those extra hours of work that you put in to buy it. I think this will be the top selling game on the Dreamcast ever and if you dont buy a copy you will be missing out on one great game. And I'm sure if you do buy it you will be pleased with this choice and thank me for writing this reveiw.
