This review about the game Wetrix, it is a classic game, been around for a while now, they have even made a sequel to the game, but don’t ask me, I have no idea what they have added, this game has barley made the ranks of playable, the sequel must be better hopefully. In this review I will talk about the good things (cough) and the bad (cough), so you will know if this game is for you or not. First off I will start off with what the game is, and the aim of the game. The game is weird, completely original. Sort of like Tetris in a way, you have blocks that you can place, random each time and you place them down, and then you also can get water, loads of it, or ... Read the complete review

It's not Tetris.... I guess it's not called that though, and where is that reverse "R" on the keyboard anyway. Nice idea, and the graphics very nice. Wobbly water looks like water that type of thing... The ducks still make me laugh... But after the challenges have been complete and you get to the game, it just keeps giving the same old stuff, over and over again, there is only so many times that you can create lakes of water, fill in leaks caused by bombs etc. Two player is good fun, but there is never any, "oh no you've got another lake, that's going to really mess me up".. I guess Tetris was the ... Read the complete review

Well to fully explaing Wetrix will hurt my head too much, but I'll see what I can do: Wetrix is a puzzle game. Blocks of different shapes fall onto the isometric square playing area. When an "upper" hits, the ground will raise in the shape of the object. A "lower" will, oddly enough, lower the ground!! geeeenius. So what do you do with your raised ground? Well, the object of the game is to create lakes and to stop the water from falling off the edge. Every so often instead of an Upper or Lower you'll get some water, drop this into your newly created lake and you're on your way to taking over the world. The more ... Read the complete review

The reviews that i read before purchasing this game did not give it the credit it deserves as i feel that it is generally quite good. Despite these reviews i decided to go out and buy this game through a recommendation from a friend. You may, at first, believe that this game is dull, but it grows more and more complex the longer you play and stick with it. That is the key, patience. The gameplay takes a few attempts to understand, but to master the game will take a long time. I love Tetris, and this game is a lot like Tetris in the fact that the biggest challenge is beating yourself. And with that, the higher you raise the bar, the more entertaining and challenging the ... Read the complete review

Despite a lack of a few features and more challenges, the whole game comes off as fresh, addictive, challenging, and fun as hell. First, you're just trying to contain all the water you have in one big lake. But later as you progress, you get hit with earthquakes, double bomb strikes, mines (very nasty ), ice attacks, and other sudden events that can occur that must be dealt with, and the all-too-important bonus multipliers that can be obtained through certain objectives. The two-player mode makes it also insanely fun. ... Read the complete review
