Aside from the customization, the Worms team has added several other modes such as a fully fledged campaign. Overall, Worms Reloaded is everything a genuine Worms fan will be looking for. The concept isn't new and it doesn't claim to be a new innovation in gaming, but for what it sets out today, Worms Reloaded hits every spot and for that I give it four out of five....more

This game is brilliant, a top trump in sega's lineup of games. Although just a conversion of the pc version, and is still just in plain old 2d, it comes under the well known saying: ""If it ain't broke..."". The single player missions are challanging from the word go, with 33 levels playable. They will take you ages to finish, and on certain levels they will unlock bonus schemes for multiplayer. Well the multiplayer is just pure fun in a nutshell. There are many different schemes that give different weapons to play around with.It is just so satisfying to place a stick of dynamite on your best mate's head (in the game of course), and whatch .  Read the complete review

If you are looking for a fighting game but have a problem with mindlessly blowing away humans then this game is for you. It is certainly a game of skill, that skill comes with practice against your mates or 5 computer teams. The idea is to lead your clan of worms into battle against other teams. You have a vast range of weapons and an infinite number of "battle zones" on which you fight across. A weapon can comprise of lots of goodies including your bog standard bazooka. However weapons such as the carpet bomb and the donkey bomb are certainly worth looking out for!!!! This game is a good investment for players of any ...  Read the complete review

(I know this review is PC-oriented, but the games are virtually identical, so I thought I'd review it here, rather than add another pointless category.) For those people who have never played any worms games, here's a quick guide to the basic workings of the game: In the basic game (the one played the most often), each player (either human or computer) starts off with a number of small cartoon worms belonging to his/her team, arranged randomly on a two-dimensional landscape. Using various weapons (e.g. grenades, bazookas and other more comical varieties) and utilities (ninja ropes, parachutes), the objective is to kill the other teams' ...  Read the complete review

The Worms games have been a long running franchise for the Team 17 gaming studio. Since becoming extremely popular in the late 90's, the Worms franchise has gone from strength to strength however a short experiment with making the game in 3D left fans of the series less than satisfied. Enter Worms Reloaded. This most recent venture by Team 17 has taken the game back to it's roots, back to where it originated. Now this wasn't the first game to take Worms back to it's roots, there was game simply named Worms released as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PS3. This slightly updated version of the game took the original, gave it a lick of paint and a map ...  Read the complete review

This is a funny game. The third in the worms series continues the tradition for complete silliness. For those of you who've been locked in a basement for the last 10 years, the worms games are a humorous take on the strategy genre. You get a team of worms (usually 4), dotted randomly along a randomly generated 2D (the whole game is 2D) landscape, and you use various weponry to destroy your opponent(s) team(s) in a turn based fashion. You can also move around the scenery using ropes or jet packs to get into better death-inflicting positions, or build girders to protect yourself from enemy fire (evil). The oneplayer in this game is good, the missions are ...  Read the complete review
