Advantages: lack of artificial additives

Disadvantages: thick aftertaste

I'm usually too much of a miser to spend lots of money on fizzy pop & I've always been really aware of healthy eating issues so ordinarily I'd much prefer to give my kids water to drink - not to mention the worry of tooth decay!
However when my son was little he had stomach problems for years & was constantly being advised by doctors to drink more fluids. He's never been a squash fan & trying to get a 3-year-old to drink any quantity of water can be a uphill battle.
I ended up giving him a big drink of 7Up every day which was a breeze as he's loved it from the start - although myself I find it's got more fizz than flavour & a syrupy aftertaste. The big selling point for me is that it's got no preservatives, colours or caffeine & only natural flavours. Why Britvic don't make more of this I'll never know, but it makes it an affordable alternative to the expensive 'healthy' fizzy drinks on the market.

Summary: a good kids drink
