Advantages: Taste is still pretty good

Disadvantages: Nothing to do with the history of Devynerios and therefore a bit artifiicial

Red Nines is the fiery version of 999, less tasty and a little more commercial but still pretty good in my opinion.

I came into contact with it when some people were ordering shots and we had already tasted the other flavours, which I had already actually tried anyway and was curious to see what the red one was about. It's pretty good but not great by Stumbras high standards.

This should be added to orange juice or served on the rocks, some of the flavourings include cinammon, mint, nutmeg, clove, vanilla sticks and lime leaves and you can taste all of these if you sip it slowly and roll it around your mouth, of course very few people actually do that so it just tastes a bit like a bitter spicey minty shot like the best ever imaginable mouthwash that when swallowed accidentally will make you drunk!

Ingredients: ratafia of fresh oranges, specially prepared water, rectified ethyl alcohol made of distilling cereals, sugar, French brandy, ratafia of fresh lemons, ratafia of different blooms, leaves and fruits, orange juice, honey, flavoring substances, natural food colorings: caramel, carmine.

Where it lets itself down is that it contains loads of ingredients which are not naturally grown in Lithuania and therefore sort of destroys the great distilling history of Lithuania's vodka, starka and bitter balsams.

Enjoy!

Summary: In UK then well worth a go, in Lithuania I'd try something more traditional
