Asda Smart Price No Added Sugar Apple & Blackcurrant Squash

I am not a huge fan of squash or fizzy drinks to be honest I'd rather have a cup of tea or nice cup of coffee any day lol! However with the weather being rather sticky and clammy of late I saw this in my local Asda store, I desided to give it a go.
The packaging~
Comes in a plastic bottle. The Asda Smart price logo ... is clearly shown at the top of the product.
There is a picture of an apple and Black currants. you will all be pleased tio learn that this is a no added sugar squash great if you have kids and don't want them having too much sugar in thir diets.
Contains just two calories per serving. Contains no artifical colourings or flavours. The contents of the bottle are 750 ml.
Using it~
I live alone and a bottle ofthis would last me a month if only having a couple of glasses of it a day. This is double the strength of most squash's so a little goes a very long way. It has a strong smell of apples and black currants just as it should. Simply addone part quash to nine parts water. This to me tastes just as good as Robinsons. Tastes just the same to be honest apples ana hint of black currant.why pay more? Sit back and enjoy a nice refreshing drink any time of the day.

Asda Diet Blue Charge

This drink is a copy of the popular energy drink Red Bull.
The drink tastes VERY MUCH like Red Bull, fruity and sweet.
I would describe this drink as very refreshing. It tastes better when it's been chilled. You don't quite get the same effect when you drink the drink at room temperature. The sweet fruity taste is ... nice and it freshens your mouth up after eating. It also leaves a pleasant fruity aftertaste in your mouth after drinking. The drink can be drunk from the bottle or out of a glass. It's nice in a glass poured over some ice, especially in the summer as it helps to hydrate you and cool you down. It really quenches your thirst too.
The drink can sometimes leave me feeling bloated, especially if I drink it too fast. I find that sipping the drink works better as you don't feel as bloated afterwards. Plus the drink helps to wash your food down if you drink it with food. The drink is really refreshing and tangy and it keeps it's fizz, although it keeps it's fizz better if it has been chilled in the fridge.
The drink comes in a plastic bottle so the great thing about it is that you don't have to consume it all in one go, unlike a can where you have to consume it all as it goes off.
I would recommend this energy drink. It's great tasting and great value too.

Asda Emerge Energy Drink

These drinks were a bit of an impulse buy for me. I bought them on a "4 for £1" offer.
The drinks come in 250ml cans and they taste similar to Red Bull. I would describe the taste of the drink as quite sweet and fruity. They do taste a little sugary but this adds to the sweetness of the drink and I like the sweet ... taste so this doesn't bother me too much. The drink is carbonated but it's not too fizzy, it's not as fizzy as Lucozade in my opinion. The drink can be drunk either at room temperature or chilled. I prefer to drink the drink chilled as it tastes much more refreshing then. The drink can be drunk on it's own or with food. I do prefer to drink the drink on it's own, usually after food as it helps to freshen my mouth up. Also, the drink can sometimes leave me feeling a little bloated if I have drunk it with food. Drinking it just as it is seems the better option out of the two.
The drink is great for perking me up if I am feeling a little tired/ sluggish. It kicks in almost straight away and the energy boost lasts for a decent length of time before disappearing. The drink leaves a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth after consuming and it manages to quench my thirst without any problems.
I would recommend these drinks. Individually they're priced at around 30p a can, much cheaper than Red Bull and there's no different in the taste!
