mjc121 Bottlegreen Ginger & Lemongrass Cordial: ... are fast becoming my favourite manufacture of soft drinks and cordials. This is mainly as they don t use artificial flavours colours or sweeteners. If you have read any of my past reviews you will know I REALLY hate artificial sweeteners which destroy the taste of everything. On one of my shopping trips to Sainsbury s I picked up a bottle of this cordial for £2.80. I have tried many of their other cordi...

crazypixie Bottlegreen Ginger & Lemongrass Cordial
... d been meaning to try this cordial for ages as I thought it sounded delicious, so when I saw it on offer at £2.12 in Morrisons instead of the usual £2.82 I thought it would be a good time to give it a go. It comes in a tall green glass bottle with a screw on lid. The screw cap is easy enough to open and it doens t pose any problems. The price is for a 500ml bottle, which it says makes 6.5 litres of the drink. It can be made hot or cold, but I m not a fan of cold cordials, I d rather just have a drink of water, so I always have mine hot. I just pour a little into a mug and and fill it with boiling water. Obviously how much to use depends on personal taste, but I find t...

... am not normally very adventurous with drinks. I tend to stick to a nice cup of tea or glass of juice. However I do occasionally like a drop of ginger beer, so when I saw this Ginger and Lemongrass Cordial from Bottle Green, I thought it might be nice and decided to branch out and try something new. The cordial comes in a transparent green glass bottle that is tapered towards the top and has a black screw lid. It looks very stylish and expensive. Bottle Green as a company say that they strive to capture the essence of the countryside in a range of exquisitely flavoured soft drinks , and they use a medley of carefully selected natural ingredient and Cotswold spring w...

... cordials are an adult version of squash, made with natural ingredients to create a very refined, clear taste. The most popular flavour is elderflower, however recently the range has expanded, and I was tempted to try the Ginger and Lemongrass when these were last on offer. Cost and Availability A bottle usually costs me £2.69 in Sainsburys, however there is often an offer on for 2 for £4 or similar, which makes this a little more reasonable. This is still however a lot more expensive than standard squash, however a bottle will last ages, and has a much more refined taste than kids squash, and is a clear, syrupy consistency and looks completely natural. Thes...
