	Captain Morgan Spiced Gold Rum ... so I thought I d dive in at the deep end and review a product responsible for many a good time. This drink is one of my favourite alcoholic beverages. Morgans Spiced Website tells us thatMorgans Spiced is actually distilled (in part) in Menstrie, Scotland. The rum is aged in charred oak casks and blended with other flavours such as cassia and vanilla. I prefer this brand over Captain Morgans (amber) any day. It is a little known fact that Diageo snapped up the previously independant company because it s sales were three times that of Diageo s own Bacardi rum in Scotland alone around 4 years ago. 	Captain Morgan Black Label Rum ... love Rum, I think it is one of the best things that ever came out of the Caribbean! I like it every way, (except straight) in coke, in a pina colada, with lime and ice, anything tastes good with Rum. I generally buy Bacardi Rum, as it is the most common one around, but have tasted some expensive aged Rums. However, the other day at a Airport they had a sale on Captain Morgan, and since I am rather partial to swashbuckling pirates, the bottle stood out to me. I got home and immediately got some coke in the freezer, and hoped to relax after a long trip, with a stiff drink.
