Goldenbrau:
... am reviewing the Golden Brau beer which is part of Heineken based on the Goldenbrau in bottle of half litre I bought in Romania. I am not sure it is the same you find in UK,although I would assume so. I paid for mine 5 Ron, which is roughly one Pound in a resturant. The bottle was not too cold. Opening the beer I could not smell anything particular. I poured it in my glass and noted that it does not have a big he... Read the full review: Ordinary beer by REALTRAVELLER |

Edelweiss Snowfresh ... recently bought this beer from Sainsbury s as it was part of a 3 for £6 offer and I fancied something a bit different. Describing it as a premium wheat beer is a bit of a Ronseal moment - exactly what it says on the tin, or bottle in this case. I chilled the bottle for a litte while and then decanted it into my favourite glass tumbler. After a few sips I was well and truly hooked. This beer has a crisp and very wheaty taste - you know it s a strong beer almost instantaneously but that s a good thing after a hard day at work and you want a bit of stress relief. The effect is that you feel relaxed and highly refreshed which brings me to my most crucial point: ensure tha... Read the full review: A pleasant surprise. by Kjn123 |

Gösser Beer ... (with umlauhts on the o which are unable to be written here..so I will write Goesser) is a well known Austrian lager which is brewed in several other nearby nations as well as in Austria, such as Croatia and Hungary - popular locations with Austrian tourists. I m actually unsure about having had a Goesser in Austria but I ve definitely sampled it on the shores of Lake Balaton, that particular brew was brewed in Heineken Hungary s brewery in Sopron! Goesser comes in a green bottle with a green label and has great tradition, dating back to the 15th century and whilst I found it reasonable from the tap, the bottled version was nothing more than your average pale l... Edelweiss Snowfresh ... Snowfresh is a beer that is made by Hofbrau Kaltenhausen in Austria but is also made in several other countries who have breweries that are sub-divisions of Heineken. The type that I tried was in Croatia and therefore brewed by Karlovacka Pivovar. I m not a huge lover of white beer but once every so often, certainly makes a refreshing change. This one came in a simplistic slightly frosted bottle with a small label at the bottom saying Edelweiss Snowfresh, it looked rather stylish really and poured in a very foamy way before settling, it tasted a little sweet but ever so thirst quenching and comes in a comfortable second position so far as my favourite white bee...
