Schweppes Lemonade ... Lemonade Description: Manufacturer: Schweppes / Soft Drinks I m not normally a fan of lemonade but someone at work had a bottle of this in the fridge and offered me a glass so I gave it a shot. She apparently paid £1.60 for a 2 liter bottle from a local shop. She buys this brand all the time and drinks it alone and also with vodka. It comes in a clear bottle with a blue background and the Schweppes logo written across it. It was quite sweet, and not as fizzy as I had expected. I think I had expected it to be a bit more lemony tasting so was slightly disappointed. A 250 ml serving contains 45kcal and 10g of sugar. I thought this tasted a little bit ... Schweppes Lemonade ... is essentially a soft drink that has been around for many years on our shores, Schweppes made this lemonade they have been around for many years and generally specialize in drinks sector. When I first opened the bottle I noticed was the unique taste and I found out that it tasted like fresh lemon and maybe with a bit of added sugar on top which I wasn t expecting. I found the taste of a bit bitter but in a good way which doesn t put you off. I found the drink to be invigorating, this drink taste quite sweet and even after I drank it I could still feel the lemon and sugar flavors taste of it in my mouth. Schweppes Lemonade ... lemonade is made with real lemons. This first thing I noted about the drink gave it an initial thumbs up from the off. Normally, I would go for Sprite or 7Up, but these were ridiculously expensive when I went to get something to go with my wife s wine to make her a spritzer the other day. Schweppes have been around for over 200 years now, and the lemonade has been made since 1835. Each 2 litre bottle contains the juice of a whole lemon, and naturally they would need to add some flavourings to make the sugary element bring out a lemony taste: one lemon just wouldn t be enough.
