Strongbow Jacques Fruit Cider:
... stumbled across this drink in my local co-op. It was on special offer and I was ought buying in a few bits for an evening entertaining my mother and father in law. Knowing that Mothere in law likes cider, I thought that this might be a nice drink for her. Now I am usually not a lover of cider ... i don t know if my sense of smell is warped (a possibility), but I always think cider smells slightly fishy (!). My hus... Strongbow Jacques Fruit Cider ... am not a big drinker and have never liked cider until one of my friends encouraged me to try Jaques. What I like about it is that is doesnt have a strong alcoholic taste. It actually has a very unique taste. This is unlike any other cider I have tried. A nice fruity flavour. It is perfect for me as I dont really like wine and usually struggle with what to drink if i go for a meal or to a friends house but this is lovely to drink with a meal, when out or just sat in watching the tv!. I first had it in a bar with a friend and it was £5 per bottle but I have found it in asda and my local Bargain Booze for £2.99. I think it is well worth the money! I don t actualy know anyb... Strongbow Jacques Fruit Cider ... and looked very scrumtious! I went ahead and bought this product and loved it..The cider itself is so refreshing and if you add extra ice with it in a frozen glass its fantastic. Cider, seems to have came a long way recently and the way I see it now has completley changed. Jacques seems to have joined the wagon along side Bulmers and Magners. This cider is alot more expensive than the usual Strongbow or other kinds like this but it also is completley different. It is red in colour for a start unlike the usual yellow/orange it is. You can buy this cider for around 2.98 per bottle 750ml in ASDA which is quite expensive but I think it is well worth it! Give it a try... Strongbow Jacques Fruit Cider ... am a cider drinker. I love the stuff. However, I m not a huge fan of the fruity varieties. At least, not until now. I bought this on a whim, not expecting much but hoping for a light refreshing drink with the added bonus of cider. This is definitely what this cider is. It s like a more mature alcopop. Very easy to drink, you can quite easily drink more than you think as it does just taste like a fruit juice. It s lovely served over ice. Unfortunately it s quite a bit dearer than the other bottled ciders which are currently widely available. I have noticed it on special offer in Asda, buy two for £5 (I think, I honestly can t remember the exact price, however i... Read the full review: Lovely fruity cider by FraggleFan |
