When someone said I needed Absolution, to follow my Black Mass, I decided to take that to mean the beer, brewed by Abbeydale Brewery, rather than the visiting a priest option! I may have got the wrong end of the stick, but I’m pretty sure I got the best end of the bargain. I was browsing the beer list at the Arkwright Arms in Sutton-cum-Duckmanton the other day and there was a sign from God – well, actually a sign above the bar, but it tempted me to have a pint of Absolution! ~~~THE BREWERY.
