Absolut Citron Vodka

Vodka is vodka, I hear you say! But it's not. Vodka is just vodka at under a tenner a bottle from Tesco. It's hot, it's rough and it gives you a really bad headache. So, what's the difference between just vodka and this product. Let me explain! Absolut Citron Vodka is imported from Sweden. It is bottled in Ahus and exported by V&S Spirit AB. Lars Olson Smith was a clever man. By now everyone will have seen and given a wry smile at all those different familar shapes from around the world transformed into the other familiar shape of an Absolut bottle. But where is it from ? Well its from Sweden. Perhaps not the first country to spring to mind but certainly Absolut is now one of the most popular brands in the world. Number 2 or 3 I seem to recall. I'm not a big spirit drinker as a rule. When out for the night, I can usually be found bopping away with a bottle of Miller clutched in my hand for grim death. In my house, it's always Miller Time!!!! However, on Saturday night, I was out waith a few mates and one of them bought me a shot of Absolut Citron. WOW!!!! It is supposed to be drunk straight. The only disadvantage with this product is the price! I like to drink it on its own with plenty of ice. I prefer to drink it at home, while reading a book rather than in a pub. I think that this is a drink that is worth taking your time over, rather than a drink with friends. I have never been a great fan of vodka in the past and this was only the second flavoured vodka that l had tried. The first one was so appalling that l actually threw it away, which is unheard of from me! (So dont tell anyone.)
