Absolut Vodka

Absolut vodka is definitely my favourite, widely sold brand of vodka. Unlike cheaper brands it's got a clean, sharp taste which when mixed blends in perfectly, leaving no sour aftertaste which is common with cheap brands and especially supermarket own brands. Absolut vodka is widely sold in the UK, and is one of the brands of choice for many retailers such as JD Wetherspoon, and in my opinion is a much nicer vodka than Smirnoff which is often bitter even when mixed. Absolut Vodka Description: Absolut Vodka is a Swedish brand of vodka, owned by V&S Group, and produced at their facilities near Åhus, Scania in southern Sweden. The largest export market is the United States where close to 73 million litres were sold in 2003. Absolut vodka is easily recognisable by it's clear bottle with electric blue lettering. Vodka has always been my drink of choice. I always drink vodka and orange when I go out but also love vodka with coke, cranberry juice, lemonade or pomegranate juice. I have tried all sorts of different brands of vodka over the last few years but Absolut is by far the best. Absolut is a clean, pure and refreshing vodka. It goes down smooth and doesnt leave you with that nasty burny/grainy sensation in your throat or mouth that some cheaper vodkas tend to do. I am vodka girl. I am pure and simple, much like Absolut Vodka. Ever since I came of age to have the odd legal tipple, vodka has been my drink of choice. It has to be said I am a real vodka girl, vodka and red bull, vodka and orange, vodka and coke, vodka and anything really but I am fussy which vodka. For a long, long time it had to be Smirnoff but then I discovered Absolut and really fell in love with it. It has a very similar strength and taste to Smirnoff but it seems to agree with me better the next day, I am never one for bad hangovers but with Smirnoff I got a severe sore head the next day for about my first two hours awake but nothing with Absolut.
