Absolute Peppar Vodka Drink / This has an amazing and very distinctive bouquet of Mexican Jalapeno chiles. Thickish in texture, very smooth with an initial sensation of sweetness. Absolut Vanilla Vodka ... you re a regular reader of my reviews you ll know that not only do I like all things chocolate but also most things with an alcohol content. Apart from rum, but that s another story. I tend to enjoy the more luxurious sweet drinks; Baileys, Archers and Sheridan’s all feature regularly in our drinks cabinet so imagine my delight when Mark brought me a bottle of Absolut Vanilla Vodka to try. I love vodka (it doesn t like me too much!) and I love vanilla so I m thinking I can t really go wrong with this one. Coming in a frosted glass bottle, this vodka is definitely the best looking on the shelf. I ve noticed that the vodka manufacturers seem to think minimalist bottles ... Absolut 100 Proof Vodka ... Vodka is availible all over the world but was originally sold in Sweden in 1879. There are loads of different varities now. I'm not alcoholic (I'm a very responsible young lady!...err, well, most of the time!) and I'm no expert on the art of vodka drinking! I've just tried a few of these and would like to share my thoughts... ~~ABSOLUT VODKA~~ Is the original. It is made from Winter Wheat and Water (whatever that's all about). Absolut Mandarin Vodka ... Mandarin is yet another flavoured vodka of the Absolut range. I often go to Revolution, the vodka bar chain, and they use Absolut as the base of all their flavoured vodkas. This, however, is from Absolut themselves. How does it rate when compared to the sublime Alpine Chocolate Vodka of those funky red bars? Well, there are two things that you pick up immediatley on tasting it; 1. It does taste very much like mandarins. The flavour is almost spot on, with the sweetness of the mandarin, combined with the tartness of oranges, giving it an authentic flavour.
