Advantages: Great tasting.

Disadvantages: Gets a bit sickly after a while.

I like to have a drink every now and then (who doesn't!!) and I'm always on the look out for new spirit and mixer combinations that dont really taste to alcoholic and end up with me feeling bloated! A while ago someone introduced spiced rum to me and then I tired a few different brands, combinations and mixers before becoming a bit of an expert!

This particular brand of spiced rum is delicious and has a very particular taste. The bottle comes in a variaty of sizes, although I have not yet found a small bottle. The bottles are tall and thin with 'old fashioned' decorations on. They remind me of old pirate bottles and drinks, which I guess is what rum is traditionally famous for.

The bottles contain dark rum with a bit of a spice to, its hard to describe the flavour but it is zesty and light with a little variety to it. It reminds me a bit of the same sort of taste as doctor pepper.

I love spiced rum with coke. I drink it mostly with coke and fresh lime slices with a touch of lime cordial, in a cuban. I have also tried a white cuban, with white rum lemonade and lemon slice, but that is not quite as nice.

Try it you wont turn back!
