After Shock is an incredibly strong tasting alcoholic beverage (it's not just a clever name) that I fondly remember drinking as a younger man, and finding the taste absolutely repellant! It has a taste and smell unlike any other drink, and whilst it's no stronger than the likes of Vodka or Whiskey, it has a smell that you can catch a whiff of from a mile away, and may well deter you before you even put it to your lips. Therefore, I recommend trying to avoid the smell until you've let this drink slide down your throat, allowing you to enjoy(?) the burning sensation. That said, it's pretty pricey for what is a relatively small bottle compared to other drinks - ... Read the complete review

The Aftershock range was one of the first drinks to rival the normal brands of Liquors, and gave a night out on the town that little something extra. Originally there were the red and blue colours, one a fiery aniseed flavour that burnt your mouth off, and the other was a more cool, light flavour, both of which you would feel slithering all the way down your throat (hence the name aftershock i guess). Other reviews say that there are a few more colours and flavours, but i have never seen them, so i cannot comment They normally come at about £2 a shot or £15 a bottle which isn't too bad for something extra with a bit of taste to it, and it certainly gets any ... You usually drink aftershock as a shot, and like most shot drinks, it will set you back around £2 - £3 in a pub or club for a shot. You can if you wish buy it buy the bottle in a supermarket and will cost you about £13 for the bottle. Aftershock comes is several flavours, which can be told apart by their very vibrant colours. - Red (Hot & Cool Cinnamon) - Blue (Deep Cool Citrus) - Black (Cranberry) - Silver (Apple & Red Bull) - Green (Thermal Bite Aniseed) - Orange Limited Edition '10' (Spicy Apple Flavoured) My personal favourite is the Black aftershock which is cranberry flavoured, I had only ever seen the blue or red ... Local student night last thursday, AfterShock £1 a shot! Oh Dear Oh Dear. I have had a cheeky one before on a night out to get me dancing a bit more, but not the 15+ shots me and my friends consumed last week. Needless to say, a friend of my was completely out of the game and crying in the ladies, but no normal tears, oh no, these tears were tinged with red ha ha. So dont drink 15 of these bad boys unless u want red tears, and slightly red ... Read the complete review

This very appropriately named drink provides just what it says on the bottle, one hell of an Aftershock. it is available in a few flavours but for review purposes I only drank the cinnamon one...........well not the whole bottle more like a couple of shots and two packs of Paracetamol. The cinnamon one comes as all do in a frosted bottle which is kind of box shaped with a short silver top. It's a lovely red colour which should have warned me sraight away of the danger, but hell I'm doing a review got to do it right. Now when I first tried it I nearly killed myself, coz WOW has it got a kick, but I have since been reliably informed that this is the ... Read the complete review
