This very appropriately named drink provides just what it says on the bottle, one hell of an Aftershock. it is available in a few flavours but for review purposes I only drank the cinnamon one...........well not the whole bottle more like a couple of shots and two packs of Paracetamol.

The cinnamon one comes as all do in a frosted bottle which is kind of box shaped with a short silver top. It's a lovely red colour which should have warned me sraight away of the danger, but hell I'm doing a review got to do it right.

Now when I first tried it I nearly killed myself, coz WOW has it got a kick, but I have since been reliably informed that this is the way you should drink Aftershock.

Take one shot glass a 3/4 fill with your desired flavour, cinnamon for me thanks. Now and listen very carefully for I shall say this only once, drink the contents of the shot glass but do not swallow. Swirl this in your mouth for 10 seconds, this is the hard bit. Swallow and open your mouth. Take a deep breath.

Right are you up from the floor yet?

On inserting the contents into the facial orifice you get an initial taste of lovely hot cinnamon followed closely by the strong alchol taste.
On swallowing your throat goes numb. Then suddenly the back of your head blows off, your socks go into orbit, and the inside of your mouth feels like a furnace. Shortly after this your throat goes AWOL. According to my sources ( I've never been able to repeat the process )if you repeat this every 15 minutes you'll end up with no head at all, and small but colourful flames gently waving in the cavity of your neck where you head once resided.

I tried it once and found it an exhilarating experience. I now abstain from any further consumer research on alcohol on the grounds that I quite like my head in its current position.

If I was 18-25 again I might partake of this a bit more often but I'm slightly wiser these days I hope. It is a very nice drink if just sipped. It's hot and nippy, warming and pleasant tasting, but it's also 40% proof. At approx 17.99 a bottle it great value, and a couple of these will get any party going . Too many however will end it just as quickly.

Summary: Hot and Spicy
