Advantages: Nice taste, comes in different flavours

Disadvantages: The flavours arent widely available

You usually drink aftershock as a shot, and like most shot drinks, it will set you back around £2 - £3 in a pub or club for a shot. You can if you wish buy it buy the bottle in a supermarket and will cost you about £13 for the bottle. Aftershock comes is several flavours, which can be told apart by their very vibrant colours.
- Red (Hot & Cool Cinnamon)
- Blue (Deep Cool Citrus)
- Black (Cranberry)
- Silver (Apple & Red Bull)
- Green (Thermal Bite Aniseed)
- Orange Limited Edition '10' (Spicy Apple Flavoured)

My personal favourite is the Black aftershock which is cranberry flavoured, I had only ever seen the blue or red ones in England, however when i went on my first real holiday I discovered there were many more! Cranberry being my favourite. I haven't had it since which is disappointing, but the Red and Blue Aftershocks must be the most popular.

Aftershock is a brilliant drink to have on hand if your having a house party or 'gathering' as there are so many drinking games that can be played with this shot. A lot of original ways to drink your shots of aftershock can be found on their official website www.shockingtimes.com. One of the best ways in my opinion is where everyone takes their shot and instead of swallowing it straight away, you have to hold the drink in your mouth as long as you can.. This is especially hard with the Red flavour as it stings your mouth forcing you to either spit or swallow.

Aftershock doesn't have to be drunk as a shot, it can also be used as an ingredient for many cocktails. My personal favourite if I were to drink it this way is by mixing peach schnapps, Miduri and aftershock red, all equal in quantity.

Taste it for your self, all the flavours are 40%, and as I say are relatively inexpensive to try.

Summary: For around £2 - what have you got to lose?
