Advantages: Nice bottle

Disadvantages: Taste is meh, expensive

After Shock is an incredibly strong tasting alcoholic beverage (it's not just a clever name) that I fondly remember drinking as a younger man, and finding the taste absolutely repellant! It has a taste and smell unlike any other drink, and whilst it's no stronger than the likes of Vodka or Whiskey, it has a smell that you can catch a whiff of from a mile away, and may well deter you before you even put it to your lips. Therefore, I recommend trying to avoid the smell until you've let this drink slide down your throat, allowing you to enjoy(?) the burning sensation.

That said, it's pretty pricey for what is a relatively small bottle compared to other drinks - clubs tend to charge £2 for a shot, and even in supermarkets, it'll tend to set you back close to £20. There are also three flavours, but I recommend sticking with the "red" one, as it has the most pungent and bearable flavour, whereas the others are something of an effort to keep down the first time you try them.

It's not exactly something I want to drink all the time, but it's fine occasionally. I just don't think it has a nice enough taste to justify its extortionate price.

Summary: Expensive but alright
