Advantages: got the heat, got the cold, got the colours

Disadvantages: cost, quick to drink

Aftershock finally there is a shot out there that tastes pretty good (makes your breath smell minty) and have a good strong kick to it. I've been well experienced the way of different shots and liqueurs for many years now so I have a good idea on what's "hot" and what's not. Aftershock has been around for a few years now and it has become a generation of drinkers who have been drinking and surprising there mates with this drink for a few years now. Unfortunately the years of the shot drinkers are dying Alco pops are dominating today?s bars and clubs and the "kids" find it difficult to handle anything that isn't close to being a soft drink. If it not these soft drinks I find saying they love to drink Vodka and gin. I remain bewildered as to this as both of them have the relative taste of meths the only plus side in being it gets the drinker drunk quicker but no direct satisfaction is gained from what I have experienced.
Now aftershock has it all in two (three) wonderful colors the strong taste that shoots down your throat leaving a trail of fire from the red which warms your insides with the final back flow of the heat which earns its name well. Then there is the blue, which is a cool minty wave that doesn?t loose its power or strength. Only the heat is lost but it is well replaced by the cool feeling that flows down (and back up) your throat giving you the feeling you'll swallowed a whole pack of XXX mints (and it does clear the airways to). If this wasn?t enough for you there is the fantastic mix of red and blue, "the purple monk". This combination of the hot and the cold makes the ultimate drink and I have atleast one whenever I go out sets the evening off with a bang for me and my mates every time.

As a final note if you're a first time drinker or would like to get at your mates who don't know any better with after shock. After drinking a shot don't breathe/snort out your nose or the
burning will go there and it isn't very pleasant but great fun in telling other people to snort after and watch there face contort in the "Aftershock".

Agree with what you're saying but all that sugar used to hide the 'meths' taste is fatal for the old pearls

I don't like the sound of the minty flavour. Sounds like drinking mouthwash!
