This stuff is the ultimate drink for clubbing and i'd only really advise it after a few beers/alcopops or whatever your tipple is as your senses will be toned down a bit!having just turned 18 a month or so ago i'm new to this alcohol malarky(you beleive that and you'll beleive anything!)i came across aftershock at a camping trip i'd heard horror stories about it that it can cause internal bleeding and death after two shots etc what can i say we were youngish impressionable youths! so we all took a shot glass and after 1-2-3 downed the contents as much as it burnt i had to keep a straight face to be one of the lads!now its a regular occurence when i'm out clubbing to have a shot with the lads!

Aftershock has a very distinct smell and taste a tip from me would be to not smell the drink before you down it as the smell is off-putiing due to its strength,i beleive its alcohol content is somewhere around 30-40%.its taste reminds me of aniseed and is surprsingly pleasant the burning aside!

In a club the price can vary depending on special offers etc but generally expect to pay between £2-£4 for a shot and in off licencses you can expect to pay between £20-£30 so it is expensive stuff.

Even though the stories of death etc are slightly overexaggerated i still wouldnt recommend binging on the stuff because it is strong and ive seen big guys falling flat on their a**es after 3 or 4 so moderation is definitely recommended!

Overall however it is a drink i would highly recommend and i find drinking it with mates works best because you have a higher chance of a scapegoat should your face shrivel up like a prune!
