Advantages: Tasty, Easy to drink

Disadvantages: Expensive, Hits you hard

Never ask what the strongest shot in the bar is and if they can put 6 in to one glass because what you more then likely be handed is a small amount of this syrupy blue/red/green stuff. As you can tell by my opening I have done this and it hit me it hit me hard.

For the taste it just taste like a flavoured drink with near enough no after burn like whiskey. When house drinking or parties you always need something to put in those shot glasses and line up as you shout someone’s name for them to drink as fast as possible, well if you don’t know what I’m talking about try it, just line up 10 shots of something and shout someone’s names until they down them all. I personally favour drinking aftershock this way and getting others to do it.

Comes in 3 flavours, red, blue and green.
The blue or “deep cool” being somewhat of a blueberry taste
The red tasting of cinnamon, like those little cinnamon balls you used to be able to get everywhere.
The green still being quite a mystery taste to me because I end up drinking it when slightly more gone.

Aftershock normally proves to be a very expensive shot, with prices ranging from £2 to £4 normally, may be more in clubs.
But I do know a secret for all those in Brighton, the “prodigal” on a Wednesday or “providence” on a Tuesday have pound parties it’s a pound entry and selected drinks are a pound normally aftershock is on this menu. You all owe me a round if you go down there.
Supermarkets offer you a 70cl bottle from £15 (ASDA) up to £30 (local).

Must promote this drink with a big warning, and ill tell it with a little story:
It was new years (03 to 04) and we are drinking up a bit at my mates house when my friend has the great idea of splitting a bottle in half between me and him and downing it. I took this was sick and moved on, he was sick then sick some more then some more and more ended up having to take
him home and he missed the clubbing.
The story tells us that we need to control ourselves you should know your own limits and this drink will always push your limits.

In conclusion this is a very good drink, slides down, tastes nice, and hits hard. But you have to watch out for the ADV of this drink.

If you want to know more search on google for “aftershock cocktails”

What do you mean there's no after burn like Whiskey! I am a whiskey drinker and yes it burns if drunk without a mixer but My God, Aftershock definetely burns all the way down! It is pure evil liquid of the devil himself, guaranteed to be seen more than once during the night (lets put it that way). The red one tastes like those discusting aniseed balls but in liquid form, and who on earth wants to even look at the blue one, drinking alcoholic mouthwash - Eurghhh! pass me the bucket. Never, ever, ever again.... eurghh....
