      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A nice enough drink!

Loving pop the way I do I really do consume gallons of the stuff. My Mum gets sick of going to the cupboard and it's all gone when she fancies a glass and last week on a shopping trip to Aldi she purchased a load of these 'cheap' bottles. Once again when it come to my Mums economy drives I was a little concerned, and more so with pop. Cheap pop can taste so artificially sweetened they can make me gag so it took some supping up on my strength to try this out I can tell you lol.

      The Packaging:

Bright green, see-through plastic bottle with a slight dent in the middle there for ease of handling and a dark blue screw on/off cap to the top of it. Around the middle of the bottle there is a a metallic silver coloured label and on the front of that I'm told it is Top Star Diet Lemon & Lime 'Made with real fruit juice' and then I'm told it contains no artificial colours or flavours, that it's gluten free, suitable for Vegetarians and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. On the back of the label other information includes a full nutritional rundown, ingredients and size are listed (2L in this case and the only size I'm aware this is available to purchase in) and contact details for Aldi are given (this product is only produced for Aldi).

      The Drink Itself:

Is clear and slightly sparkling opposed to highly fizzy. It has a delicate smell of lemons and limes to it. It also actually tastes of lemons and limes too, doesn't taste artificially sweetened and has a natural sort of taste to it really. All round it's actually a rather pleasant drink. Great on it's own or a mixer the only issue is with this is that cos it isn't highly fizzy to begin with it does tend to go flat in a rather short space of time and I also find that even stored correctly in the fridge this drink goes very flat within a couple of days. However like I say it's actually a rather pleasant and light tasting drink and worth the money you pay for it!
