Advantages: Good flavour and inexpensive

Aldi's Topstar Diet lemonade is very good value for money, it costs in cheaper than the equivalent products from Tescos and Sainsburys and, quite frankly, has a better flavour.
I find that some diet lemonades can taste either too watery, or just sweet with not enough lemon flavour, but Aldi's Topstar diet lemonade has neither of these faults. The lemony flavour is as natural tasting as you would want in what is essentially not a terribly natural product and the sweetness is about right and again, pretty natural flavoured, though of course it can't be natual as it is achieved with artificial sweeteners.
The packaging is a standard two litre bottle for fizzy drinks in clear plastic, and the label design is fine, if unexciting. I drink it very often as a shandy with low alcohol beer (oh the joy of trying to drink less ancohol _and_ lose weight <sigh>) and it is really very good as the mixer lemondade.
I have also started to drink it on its own, or mixed with orange juice, and it really does a fine job in all these drinks. In fact I'm off to have another glass now!
Summary: A good value, fine tasting diet lemondade
