Overall I would say that the presentation of the drink was good (although I've never once seen a bottle of rum better than sailor jerrys rum), the other factors that attracted me were price and percentage. Since I bought this at a duty free, I felt that it was best to spend more and get a better deal out of it. In the uk you would expect to pay around £17 for 70cl online, or around £20+ for 70cl in a shop. I have worked in the pub trade since I was 15 with my very first job being a glass collector. Now, some years later I'm still there and use this as an excuse to sample many many drinks, with rum being a particular favourite tipple of mine. When I bought this rum I based it on several factors, firstly the unusual bottle. Most rums come in your standard tall round bottle and have a thinn neck. This bottle has a fat bottom, a thinner mid section and then fattens out before narrowing for the neck.
