Advantages: Delicious, Refreshing

Disadvantages: High calorie, Very fizzy

What to say about possibly the yummiest drink ever. Oh boy is Archers the greatest thing i've ever tasted.

Achers Aqua is the best drink invented. Its delicious, refreshing, fruity, comes in plenty of flavours, has a generous amount of alcohol without going over the top.

The first flavour i tried was raspberry and although peach is very yummy too, raspberry remains my favourite. It had never occurred to me to try the peach variety because i'm not a big fan of peach. I was pleasantly surprised by Archers peach though as the flavour isn't too overpowering. Its just perfectly peachy.

Obviously there are downsides as there is with everything in life. In pubs they can be quite expensive, in my local for example they cost £2.90 each which mounts up quickly when you need to drink at least ten to get a bit tipsy. Also people used to drinking wine or spirits will find the alcohol content quite low at around 5%. Most wine has between 7 and 13% alcohol. Also sugar filled alcopops are a big source of calories. I'm not sure of the calories in a bottle of Archers Aqua but Bacardi Breezers are a similar kind of drink and they have 340 calories per bottle. Which is a huge amount when the recommended daily calorie intake for a woman is 2000 calories. If you drank ten of them in a night (which is the minimum i'd drink on a night out) you'd have drank almost double (3400) your daily recommended calories! And thats before your pizza or kebab on the way home!

Anyway, here come the details: Archers Aqua, available in Peach, Raspberry, Orange, Apple and Cranberry.

Costs between £2.50 and £3 in most pubs and clubs, with a few exceptions such as Wetherspoons where it costs £1.69. Costs £4.47 for a four pack from Asda and £2.48 for a 70 cl bottle.

I've still not tried these but need to rectify that soon. I love Breezers so I'd love the sweetness of the Aquas I should imagine!
