Advantages: Fruity, sweet & refreshing, (too) easy to drink

When it comes to alcohol, I'm more of a Jack Daniels & Diet coke girl myself, or a vodka & lemonade if I want something a bit more refreshing. Archers Peach Schnapps is a great alternative to strong sharp tasting spirits or weak alcopops (alcopoopoos I call them; too sugary and expencive considering there's more sugar than alcohol).

Archers Shnapps is an alcohol based drink with a peach flavour and is sold in reasonable-sized 70cl clear frosted bottles. I would say it's probably the most popular brand of Schnapps so you're more than likely to find it in your local supermarket and most drink stores and pubs sell it too. 70cl bottles tend to cost around £11-13 and have a 23% ABV. Compard to vodka, you're not getting as much alcohol for your money and there are cheaper versions of schnapps available, but that said, you get a quality tasting drink with Archers.

I like Archers on its own, but some may find it too strong on its own so you can dilute it with whatever you like... I find lemonade and cranberry juice to work quite well. The flavour is peachy...very peachy and very sweet. It's because it's so sweet that I can drink this on its own, but if you're not one with a particularly sweet tooth then you may want to tip in more lemonade for good measure. It has a fruity, refreshing taste and is very easy to drink. It makes a great party drink because I class this as a more 'fun' alcohol. Think cocktails, holidays, fruityness... It has a lot of flavour but because it's so easy to drink, you may find yourself drinking like a fish and feeling a little sick as it is very sweet.

Summary: A fun, fruity, sweet alcohol that always goes down nicely for me! :o)
