Ardbeg's Ten Years Old:
... 10 years old is a Single Islay Malt Scotchish Whisky and as such has the distinctive peaty taste that accomplines most Islay malts and this is one of my personal favorites. As the description of this product tells you, it is a special bottling for the Ardbeg distillery as it is the only non-chill filtered whisky in the Ardbeg range. This sounds very exciting, but I had no idea what that meant, so I did a litt... Read the full review: Ardbeg 10 Years old-Suitable for those older then 10 by jonnyfun06 |

Ardbeg's 17 Year Old Whisky Drink / This single Islay malt is revered by connoisseurs as a truly extraordinary whisky. Ardbeg Single Malt stands alone as the most delicate and complex of all the Islay malts. It does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the malt, the natural sweetness of which subtly permeates and prod... overall rating |

Ardbeg's Ten Years Old ... this has to be my favorite Whisky of all time. Have tried the 17 year which is amazing but for value I suppose this one is the better choice for most. Ardbeg is one of the famous Islay single malt whiskys. This whisky is revered around the world as the most balanced Islay malt It s also the peatiest yet has a complex character and an appealing sweetness. This is such a smooth drinnk and I often find adding just a tiny dash of water until it turns cloudy, often enhances the rich flavors! I have always liked peaty whisky and this one is probably one of the peatiest I have ever tasted. I also like the box it comes in, and the bottle itself is my favorite. Always l... Ardbeg's Ten Years Old ... to start with this complicated little beauty then? It won't really rip your head off..honest.. There are whiskies and then there are whiskies. Highland, lowland, island, grains, blends, malts, the huge Speyside region of Scotland producing the bulk of what I used to regard as the best?until I tasted this one?Ardbeg 10 year old. Possibly, not only by my definition, the best malt whisky ever produced, certainly one of the most distinctive, powerfully flavoured and one which went out of production in 1981 (horror!) only to be thankfully revived in 1997(phew). Islay Of all the whiskies of the world,... Read the full review: It'll Rip Your Head Off! by Muddy250 |

Ardbeg's Ten Years Old ... you think that all whisky is the same, do yourself a favour and try a bottle of this wonderfully snappy Islay single malt. At last, it's becoming widely available in supermarkets, after being a wel-kept secret for many years. The makers make big claims for it, describing it as "...the best whisky in the world" - but they might just have a point. If you like your whisky soft and mellow, you should buy something else, but if you're already a fan of peaty malts like Laphroaig or Lagavulin, or simply want to try something more complex and challenging, you won't be disappointed. It's stronger than most malts, bottled at 46%, and I'd reco... Read the full review: Give your taste-buds a thrill! by johnnylondon |
