Ascot Ales is a relatively new brewery, having been operating for just less than a year at the time this review was written. Locally Ascot Ales has strong competition from the likes of Hogs Back in Tongham near Aldershot, Surrey Hills in Guildford and Waylands in Addlestone. It remains to be seen whether or not they can develop a niche for themselves that will ensure their survival. In the current economic climate, it's going to be tough. Despite its name, the brewery is not based in Ascot.
