“ Manufacturer: Asda / Type: Soft Drinks / Available in different flavours „
Asda do a great range of fizzy drinks and this orange crush is lovely. It is an orange flavour fizzy drink with zero added sugar. It also does not contain aspertame which is good to know. The price of this is great as you can normally get three large bottles in Asda's range for £1 which is excellent value for money as it really does taste just as good if not better than the branded fizzy drinks. This orange crush has a lovely taste and tastes very orangey and doesn't taste artificial.I often find some orange drinks don't taste enough of orange and just taste carbonated but this is nice and sweet and very fruity. It definately tastes like there are crushed oranges in it. It really quenches my thirst and is great for drinking on hot days and my whole family like it. I think it is great for both adults and children. It is nice and fizzy and even after it has been open a day it still retains its fizz and is nice to drink. It is also good because it has no added sugar so only has a few calories in so helps me managed my weight as I don't want to waste calories on drinks so this is perfect for me. I would definately recommend it to all my friends. It is an absolute bargain and tastes gorgeous.
When it comes to carbonated soft drinks I'm a real guzzler! I get through gallons of fizzy pop in a week which is sometimes why I try cheaper brands of the stuff or shops own...to try save some much needed pennies! I spotted this in Asda costing 63p a bottle and as it was 'zero added sugar' decided it had to reasonably healthy and so purchased a bottle! The Packaging: 2 litre see-through plastic bottle that has a black screw on/off lid/cap to the top of it. Round the middle of the bottle there is a label and on the front of that I am told that it is Asda Orange Crush 'Zero Added Sugar' and there is a picture of oranges on there and I am told that it contains no added sugar, zero aspartame, zero artificial colours & zero artificial flavours. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes ingredients, storage and a nutritional chart being shown, the size is stated (As I've listed already) and contact details for Asda are given. Nice enough bottle and of course it is as informative as it needs to be! The Drink Itself: Light orange in colour and slightly bubbly, as soon as you open the bottle up you get a zesty smell of oranges to it. Best served chilled (or with ice) this does have a very strong orange taste to it however just because this doesn't contain sugar it does contain rather alot of sweeteners and although this is rather refreshing and tangy when drinking it, it does tend to leave a weird sort of tangy taste due to the sweeteners once drunk. Once poured this loses it's fizz within few minutes and when I opened mine and put it back into the fridge to store it within 2 days it had lost all of it's life and was more like a weird, thin juice. Not for me this one sadly due to it's odd and artificial sweetness and I found after drinking this I was often more thirsty than before I consumed it!
